Sterilisation Area

Notice the brown indicator? It signifies that the packet has undergone sterilization—a crucial detail that reassures our commitment to safety and cleanliness.

New clients often inquire about our sterilization process when they book an appointment, and rightly so—knowing the specifics is your right.

Here's how we ensure the utmost hygiene for our tools:

  1. Disinfection: This initial step involves soaking the tools in a specially formulated solution, each with a designated concentration and soaking time for optimal effectiveness.

  2. Pre-Sterilization Cleaning (PCS): Next, we rinse the tools under running water followed by a thorough cleaning in an ultrasonic bath. This process can be integrated with disinfection if the equipment permits, although it's essential to note that not all solutions are suitable for ultrasonic baths—particularly those that foam.

  3. Sterilization: Finally, the well-dried instruments are placed into small kraft packets—for now, as we're currently working exclusively with scissors. Instruments can also be dried in a dry heat sterilizer at 85°C. The sterilization itself is performed in a certified dry heat sterilizer.

Each packet corresponds to one set, which includes scissors and 1-2 burs.
